Introduction<\/h2>\n\n

Do you know that? You think you have a great idea that is worth implementing. Quickly you already have a thousand points on your to-do list and are super motivated. Beginnings are very exciting in terms of genre. But at the same time, you feel panic rising in you and you can’t decide what to do first. That’s what happens, or at least that’s what happened to me more often. Setting up a company is an almost overwhelming task, depending on the legal form and details or the company’s location. That many therefore do not even dare to do it. And that’s ok. Working as an employee and leaving the worries to the employer after work can certainly be more pleasant for some than being responsible for everything themselves 24\/7. But maybe you, like me, are one of the charmingly crazy visionaries. Who simply can’t help but put their ideas into practice. If so, then we will certainly get along very well.<\/p>\n\n

Beginnings<\/h2>\n\n

I have to admit, I love beginnings, this magic in the new takes hold of me again and again. It’s like a hike that starts on a summit after you’ve just completed some kind of education. You have this insanely great view of your own future. The view is clear, in the distance you can see the most beautiful things and you want to achieve them. This last hurdle has only just been overcome. The motivation is huge and the first steps are easy to take. You literally stumble down the mountain. But then you arrive exhausted in the valley and there the next mountain already blocks your view. Every step back up is difficult and the summit seems almost endless in the distance. This is the point at which most start-ups or entrepreneurs fail again. Or don’t really get into action in the first place, but get doubts during the planning phase. Not necessarily because their ideas weren’t good enough or they lacked skills, but simply because they give up. And didn’t take the first valley phase into account. <\/p>\n\n

Every experience has its value<\/h2>\n\n

Of course, sometimes mistakes are so serious that they are no longer so easy to correct, but basically there is a solution for every problem. And if you can’t think of one, then there is always the possibility to look for someone who already knows a solution. Therefore, there is really only one important rule: there is no “win-or-loose” scenario<\/strong>. Just a “win-or-win” scenario. Either you win, in the form of having achieved your goals, directly or almost without detours. Or not, but then you’ve gained an instructive experience and it has set you on a path that has the potential to bring you even more success. If you look at the world in this way, I would say you are unbeatable. Of course, you should try to avoid serious mistakes. Getting into debt unnecessarily, e.g. But in case of doubt, you would also be able to learn something from such a situation and, above all, be able to get out of it again.<\/p>\n\n

Keeping up with the times<\/h2>\n\n

Are you standing on this summit right now and thinking about which way you should go next? Maybe you are also playing with the idea of becoming self-employed. In the meantime, I have been able to gain almost 20 years of experience as a self-employed person and entrepreneur, partly full-time and sometimes part-time, and I still learn something new every day and most of the time I think that I basically still have no idea what I am actually doing. There is always something that changes, evolves or loses its importance in society, such as Facebook for some time. In general, I’m not exactly social media savvy and my Instagram feed currently looks pretty bleak compared to the many others. But what the heck, one step at a time. What is quite natural for today’s youth is admittedly a little more difficult for me in my late 30s. But that’s what being an entrepreneur has to be all about, you have to remain permanently flexible<\/strong> and be able to continue to develop and adapt to requirements.<\/p>\n\n

What really matters<\/h2>\n\n

If you ask me, the most important thing, long before the legal and business skills you need as a future entrepreneur, is the right minimum. I’m sure you’ve heard that before. But I don’t think you can stress that enough. You can have any title you can think of, but if your minimum is more of a hindrance, then you will have more problems than someone with the right minimum but without any degree. Anyway, that’s my opinion and experience.<\/p>\n\n

Result<\/h2>\n\n

I myself had to realize a few years ago that I had been treading water for a long time. Ten long years, to be honest. I just couldn’t get any further, my income was always just high enough to cover my costs. And that’s despite the fact that most of the time I worked significantly more than the usual full-time 40-50 hours\/week. It wasn’t until I started working on myself and my minimum that I realized how much potential I hadn’t exhausted for a long time. How much more efficient and smarter I could work and how much more growth was still ahead of me. And above all, how frighteningly little financial education I actually had. And how I can master the next problems, because they always come at some point without giving up.<\/p>\n\n
